Lena Makes a Friend

Yesterday, our friends Mike, Hilary and Kaden came for a visit. Kaden was so sweet with Lena. He showed her how to play with her toys, made farm animal noises and made her laugh. He would run up to her, make a noise, she would giggle and then he would pet her head. I think she likes him...

Kaden also gave her hugs- so precious.

Easter Weekend

Mama Mills gave Lena a very cool present for Easter. It was a frog inside a balloon. Lena kissed the balloon and out popped the frog! We named him Prince Charming.







Lena also got a blue-pail Easter basket of cute Spring outfits and socks.

Monkey-See Monkey Do

Lena-Monkey has decided that she is very interested in the world around her. She takes everything in and decides that she has to try it too. She grabs my plate at dinner, tries to eat my food and drinks from my glass! When I have a glass in my hand, she opens her mouth and moves toward it. So, I decided to see if she would drink from it. She put her mouth up to the glass and I poured some water in. She swallowed it and did it again.

She also likes to imitate Zoe and Susie. She breathes really fast (like panting) when she wants something. She gets so excited. It's really funny.

Monkey Update!

So here's an update on our Monkey. She is now over 4 months old. She weighs just over 12 lbs and is 24.25 inches long. She is in the 50th percentile for her height, 20% for her weight and 5% for her head. Yup! Definitely Seth's girl. She is attempting to roll over, but just can't make it past her arm. But she loves to stand and even jump. You can pull her up from laying down, and she uses her legs to push up and off your lap. She loves to talk too. She is trying to keep up with me and Mama Mills. She is also eating rice cereal and oatmeal.

Lena is getting bigger and sweeter every day. She has a beautiful smile for us every morning and laughs all the time. When we go walking in the Bjorn, she kicks her legs and flaps her arms. Everyone says she is just beautiful and precious. We are so blessed to have her!


Lena is helping me paint the fence outside the neighborhood.



Surfin' USA! Lena loves her surfboard tummy-time mat. It has fish in water and a starfish that makes bubble noises.
