More Friends Come to Visit

Seth's BFF, Kevin, came to visit with Jamie, his wife. Lena had fun getting to know them. We all went out to eat at the Mellow Mushroom. Lena hung out while the adults had pizza and beer outside. She went shopping with Mom and Jamie. She was a very good girl this weekend.

Six Months Old!

Lena had her 6 month appointment. She's grown so much! I think the doctor was very impressed- Lena sleeps 9-10 hours at night, eats veggies and yogurt, is trying to "crawl", and talks. She even does better with the shots. She only cried a few seconds this time.

Profile of her little head. They had to measure 3 times to make sure it was still growing!

Her ears stick out like a little monkey.

Waiting excitedly for the shots!

She finally doubled her weight.

Lena loves the jolly jumper. She finally got the hang of it, instead of just turning around in circles.

Family Weekend

Well, I was reprimanded for posting without pictures (sorry Jay), so here are a few.

My Dad and Carmon came up from Florida, and Uncle Jason, Aunt Shannon and Cousin Edy came out for BBQ. Lena dressed the part in her western shirt and cowgirl hat.

Lena in her cowgirl hat- all the way from Texas.

Zoe loves to be in pictures too.

First Word?

So I really think Lena said her first word last night. She's been babbling for a while now. Mostly, it's ba-ba-ma-ba-ba-blah-blah, etc. But last night, I laid her down on the changing table, and she slowly and clearly said "ma-ma". It was awesome! Of course, I was the only one who heard it. Now she's moved on to "la-la-la-la". Hopefully, it will be be "da-da" soon.

Important Update!!

Well, Lena FINALLY rolled over last night. For months now, she has been rolling back and forth but not quite making it all the way over. She has been very stubborn about getting past her arm. She would be so close for a few weeks, then just give up for another week or two. We all thought she would be sitting up unassisted before she rolled over. I mean, the girl drinks from a glass, sits on the floor, and "talks" all the time! But, last night, she was on her surf board, playing with her toys and decided to try again. She got up on her side, and we all held our breath. Then, bloop, over she went. We clapped and yelled for her. Then she looked at us like "what's the big deal?". It was awesome!

Spring is Here

Since Dada was in South Dakota for a few weeks, Mama Mills spent a while with Lena and Mama. The flowers were blooming so we took some pix outside.
