Lena turns 3!!!

Our awesome little girl turned 3! She is smart, sweet, funny, athletic and happy all the time.

We are so proud of our Lena.

She helped make her cake- yellow with chocolate frosting and lots of sprinkles.

Halloween

 It took me a while, but here are the Halloween pix. Lena was a monarch butterfly. She was beautiful! Everyone loved her costume. We went trick-or-treating in a neighborhood close to town, and she loved it (her first time). She would get her candy and then say "another house mama!".

 Frosted Mega Wheats

 We have an even better, longer hill on the side yard. If we get enough snow, we're going to make an ice luge.

 We tried with Zoe, but she wasn't having it.

October Snow!

It snowed yesterday (October, really??). So of course, we had some fun outside in the nice sunshine.

 We have a few good hills for sledding, so we used Seth's snowboard.

AppleFest

We went to AppleFest in Adams county when Mammie came to visit. They have all kinds of cool stuff there- food, activities, old steam-driven farming equipment, bluegrass music, crafts, wine. It was awesome! We ate apple bread, apple sausage, applesauce, and apple wine.

Lena had freshly made applesauce.

We visited the McCully's and Lena got to play with Emma. The girls had fun in the pool, and so did the dads.

Animal Watching at TGO

We went to Florida for a week vacation and stayed with my dad at The Great Outdoors. We rode around and looked for cool animals. Lena loved riding the golf cart, and walking up to the deer, turtles, and birds. We looked really hard for some gators, but they were all hiding underwater.

Lena and Zoe are good pals. Zoe stays in Lena's room every night and at nap time. In fact, Lena insists on it, or no sleeping! Lena also gives her breakfast, dinner, water, medicine, and hugs and kisses.
