Dinner

Dinner starts out happy enough. After milk comes real food. Tonight's menu- The Special. It's a Brenner favorite, consisting of ground meat, egg noodles and veggies. Lena liked it well enough for the first few bites. However, she has decided to go on a veggie-strike. Here's the progression...

Family Reunion

We went to the Long family reunion. Lena was a hit! She met her Long relatives and ate banana pudding and persimmon pudding. She has a sweet-tooth like Mama, so of course she was happy.

Walking!

Lena is walking!!! She's been standing on her own, and the other day she took a step. But, last night, she took 4 steps. She kept doing it, so I got some videos on my cell phone. It's time to get a real video camera. Woohoo!! Go Monkey!

I took some photos of Lena and Dada yesterday. There were so many good ones, I had to post in 2 parts. Lena is working really hard on standing on her own. She gets excited, claps, and throws her hands up.

Lena and Eli

This is Lena's friend, Eli. He's a very sweet, happy boy. They are getting to know one another. Lena loves Eli and gets really excited when he comes over.


Eli likes to taste everything too.
