July 4

Our awesome neighbors had a July 4th picnic and invited us over. We got know more of our neighbors, eat food and watch some really awesome fireworks- the kind that go way, way up high, except when the come back down and blow up on the ground. (Yes, it was a fun time.)

Frank (our neighbor) drives a HUGE truck for Fedex. I really mean HUGE. This ride is sweet! Leather seats, bed in the back, TV- AWESOME! Anyway, Lena got to pull the air horn. I'm secretly so jealous.

I took these pix one night when Seth and Lena were hanging out on the back porch. We have awesome sunsets here, and sitting out back around the fire pit is really nice.

Eli came to visit Lena last Friday, and they had a good time. Lena was really excited to show Eli her sandbox, room, toys, yard, tractors, etc. These two are old pals..

Heart Cookies

Today's Easy Bake treat- Heart Chocolate-Sugar cookies. So much fun! (And tasty too.)

Memorial Day (A Little Late)

I know it's a little late, but we went hiking on Memorial Day when Mamie was here. I got just a few pix that day.

 Lena had to have a bandanna too.

Baking Day

Wednesday is Baking Day here. Today, I took out Lena's Easy Bake Oven (from the Little Brenner Family). Lena had fun mixing up the cake and icing, playing with the oven and, especially, eating the cake. I tried it- pretty good for a light bulb!

Dandelions

We seriously have a million dandelions. These pix show only a very small portion of them. It will probably take years to get rid of most of them. Until then, Lena loves picking them. But beware- they stain your skin for days!
